Today Google announced their own web browser called “Chrome” (http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2008/09/fresh-take-on-browser.html) – In my opinion a bit more competition is a good thing. Although I hope that this will not hurt the mozilla firefox project. All the technical background for the new browser is explained in a nice comic:

I have seen alot of people do not like google chrome because it tracks everything you do online. Not sure how true it all is but they track all search and if you use browser it tracks everything else.

It looks like a great piece of kit. But I’m sitll quite happy with Firefox to be honest.
I have just installed Google Chrome again. I don’t use Chrome much but I just checked and it looks much faster. Firefox is heavier no doubt but the extensions it has are unmatched with any other browser. I can get so many addons on Firefox and I am addicted to them.
However Google Chrome seems to be faster and more responsive at the moment.
