Automated link building with NeuroLinker

If you have followed my blog for some time, you know that I am a big fan of Jonathan Leger’s link programs, (see my article Getting backlinks with the “Leger Backlink Family” for an overview on 3waylinks, 1waylinks and mywaylinks)
Now that does not mean that I am blind to everything else, in fact there are other excellent programs out there, too, and one of them is NeuroLinker:
Neurolinker has not only has become a serious rival to 3waylinks.net, it incorporates most of the functionality of many other SEO services, which makes it a one stop SEO solution.

When neurolinker started, it was basically the same as 3waylinks, but they constantly added very useful features, and by now neurolinker is something like 3waylinks combined with 1waylinks plus a social bookmarking service + article marketing.

Let’s have a closer look on neurolinker:

Links from relevant sites
Neurolinker has an option to choose whether you want only backlinks from related sites. That will lead to much fewer backlinks, but you do not have to worry that you might get visitors from sites that don’t have anything to do with yours. There once was a category listing in 3waylinks, too, but is has no relevance.
If it is sheer quantity of backlinks that you are after, you can choose to get links from unrelated sites, too.
In 3waylinks there is no way to choose.

Deep links
In 3waylinks all links are links to your homepage. In neurolinker, you can create backlinks to any page on your website.
That is great for supporting inner pages of your site.

Number of Backlinks
Neurolinker states you get unlimited backlinks – of course that is only half the truth: The number of links is only limited by the number of members in the system, but it is definitely higher than with 3waylinks (250 backlinks per domain).

Amount of domains
3waylinks allows you to put up to 50 domains in the system – under certain circumstances, namely if you have domains with a PR of 4 or higher, you can put more than 50 domains in the system. Neurolinker has a quota of 100 domains from start…

Other Services
Neurolinker has a much broader portfolio of link types, they introduced an reciprocal social bookmarking service(digg and stumble). In Exchange to diggs and stumbles for your sites, you bookmark, digg and stumble other peoples sites…
Neurolinker also sports an article service. You can submit articles that will be published on other member websites – basically what 1waylinks does, too.

Now for all the extra functionality I would have expected a hefty price tag, but in fact neurolinker is even cheaper than 3waylinks.
Now if you asked me: Mike, do you abandon 3waylinks and use neurolinker instead?
My answer is easy: Of course not! 3waylinks is much too valuable to abandon it and contrary to neurolinker they accept my non english web sites, too. But neurolinker is far too powerful to ignore, so I use both, sometimes even for the same site, and what can I say: it is double the power than only one linking service ;-)

It looks good but personally I’m not a fan of these automated services. I’d much prefer something where I manually selected which links I add to my site, and which sites add me. A bit like Link Market, but non-reciprocal.

I have found that neurolinker is only telling a half truth also in giving unlimited back links because it is limited by members in the system.

Thanks for this comprehensive overview on this new service and comparing it to those of Jonathan Leger. For me the acceptance of non english domains are an issue too as i operate from Germany too.
Thanks and I will certainly visit more often.

I don’t know about all these link building service thingies, I haven’t had a good experience with them so far. I prefer doing the linkbuilding myself manually, I’ve been pretty succesful with it so far.

      Hello Ruri

Yes in a certain way it means you are dependend on that company – but you have to see that you are dependend on other companies anyways in that game: google for example. Compared to other services neurolinker comes at moderate costs…

Good comparisons here, also good to mention that the links with Neuro, #WL, and even ALB are temporary, whereas Neurolinker has SOME chance of link permanence.

One of your commenter’s was right in saying that there’s no such thing as unlimited backlinks (just bad sales copy there) because of the 3 services mentioned, the only one with a chance of link permanence is Neuro which is limited to the number of members with relevant sites who accept the article with links intact, and after those same 50-60 theme relevant sites link to you 5-6 times the law of diminish returns kicks in (subsequent links have less value).

I understand you’re affiliate of these programs but you might want to let people know the reality, too.

    Thanks,

I’ve used linkjuicer on a few of my sites. It builds a couple backlinks a day to each site. It’s very gentle but it’s not something that gives “wow” results.

I’m familiar with 3Way Links, and was a paying member for about one year. I had 50 sites in the network, and really didn’t see much if any improvement in ranking or traffic. I dropped out (stopped the monthly 47.00) but the sites that were in continue to carry the links, in and out. I’m curious about Neurolinker..did you see any improvement in any of the site’s ranking or traffic? I don’t mind paying a reasonable monthly fee if I get the bang for my buck.

      Hi Gustav

I am pretty sure neurolinker will not help you if you did not have any success with 3waylinks. Maybe the additional services like social bookmarking an blog posting that are included in neurolinker on top of service that is similar to 3waylinks will make the difference but I doubt it. What I consider much more likely is that you have to rethink the keywords you chose and the way you analysed your competition. I always had quite good success but with neurolinker and 3waylinks – maybe you need even both comined if you are targeting keywords with more competition.

If you need some help determining your competition and the best keywords to target, drop me a line via the contact form…

      Mike
