I saw this program before, but am always worried about people using that single page format landing page layout. A lot of snakes out there using that. However, if you have taken the time to make this plugin, I’m sure it must be worth the punt

The format of the 3WL Links page has quite a few variations already built in. If you build 2 site and use 3waylinks on them, chances are very high that the links pages look quite different.

I have successfully installed your plugin on four blogs, but have one blog and though using same theme, version of WE, whether I uplod the plugin by FTP or within WP plugin install interface , it will not let me open the plugins page so I can add my 2WL ID no matter what I try. I get always routed to Page Not Found! Any ideas?

I have no idea currently … I just saw that the plugin has been downloaded over 10.000 times and have never heard of this page not found problem before.
Could you send me some more details, like your PHP version and whther this is subdirectory install or whether you installed in the root of your domain?

I uploaded the old version to two other blogs and the updated version of your plugin installs right up thereafter, it’s not the version issue. The WP is on the root. Plugins page opens fine. All works fine. But when install the plugin, I can’t open the Plugin page to see all the plugins – every time I click the plugin link I get kicked out of the administrative area. And the only way I can get back to open the plugins page is only after I delete your plugin from plugins directory usingn FTP. There must be some issue, conflict , possibly between your plugin and other plugins I have installed but I have essnetially the same ones on the other blogs.
I use WP 2.7.1 same as on other blogs, so I wonder where the conflict could be.
I just started using Wordpress a couple of months ago. I love it, and this plugin for Jon’s network sounds great. As soon as I get 3way I will start plugin in.

It already works with one website, the rest for 3waylinks comes from the network, that is the value you get for your money. Of course course if you put more websites in it, you get more for the same money (you can put up to 50 domains in one account, or even more if some of your sites are PR4 or higher)
Most of my sites are html but I accept a brace of wordpress ones and this plugin fabricated it so simple to install the script!
This plugin is a time saver and makes life using 3 waylinks much easier! thanks again!

It is relative, if you have many domains you can put in the system, then the price per domain is quite low. If you only want to push one domain, you might try neurolinker (http://www.seo-traffic-guide.de/2009/06/29/automated-link-building-with-neurolinker/) it is cheaper has some extra functionality, but also a few backdraws compared to 3WL (only english sites for example)

P.S: Whether something is cheap or expensive depends on if you see it as an investment. If you choose your keywords wisely, it can make a huge difference in rankings. I have one site that earns far more than those $47 – and it is not the only site I have in 3WL. If you use it it for a site with the pics of your last vacation, it is expensive, if you use it to oush a serious business, it is not expensive…

I need to promote spanish sites mostly. A pity Neurolinker can’t help me then. I have just a few websites but are huge, with original content and pagerank from 1 to 4. I use Wordpress, Joomla and Magento mostly.
With this scenario, can you suggest me any service similar to 3wl or Neurolinker?
Of coure $47 per month it’s not expensive if you rank well and get more traffic…

I can’t seem to get the plug in to work. I tried 3 different sites and I can’t get any of them to work. I have the page up but when I go to verify it through 3waylinks, they can’t verify it or I get an error 404.
Can you help me please.
404 means “page not found” – most probably you made a mistake in your 3WL backend resource page file name setting. I must not be resource.php if your resource page is /resource/ for example…

Sounds to be a good tool. I am going to dowload and test with my Wordpressd tool. I am Still interested aboud some longterm experience with the WP Plugin
The tool only works if you are a paying member of 3waylinks – so the question is not long term experience with the plugin but with the 3waylinks service. I personally use it for over 2 years now and I am pretty content with the results -> still great and can bring a site with moderate competition up to page one!

If I have already set up a page for 3 way link, shall I still need the plugin to run my 3 way link?

If you already set up 3waylinks with a php file you don’t need the plugin. the plugin has advantages though, for example if you change your theme your 3waylinks page automatically changes with it whereas the php version stays in the old design until you alter header and and footer code in the 3waylinks backend.

I have been a happy user of several of Jon Leger’s products. I appreciate the shout out here in your blog. In fact, I may be a current user of 3waylinks right now…but only Jon and I know.
I’m afraid of 3waylink schemes because Google might find out sooner or later. I rather not get penalized!
That is something I hear since I started to use 3waylinks 3 years ago. In my opinion you rather get penalized for trying to rankcrappy sites than for using 3waylinks.

Great plugin. I haven’t used a 3 way link plugin for wordpress before. I thinkit is something lacking as the current SEO tools are not extensive.

Jon Leger has very strict criteria for sites allowed into the system – I don’t believe that a “bad neighborhood site will ever make it into the system. If so, you can always file a support ticket for them and ask for deletion of the site.

The plugin should work fine with 2.7.1 although I strongly recommend to update to the latest version because quite a few security issues have been adressed since then…
Sometimes the order in which plugins are activated make a difference. My plugin does not change anything in the wordpress internas so this is really strange.
What you could do is deactivate all plugins and activate the 3WL plugin and see if the error is still there.
Then activate the plugins one by one to see if you can find out the culprit…
