Thanks for this great post mate, I’ll have to search out that plugin and add it to my blog, anything that keeps people coming back sounds good to me.

I’ve been lucky enough to build a few relationships with some of my visitors though replying to their comments, and we now regularly comment on each others posts.

Jon Leger has very strict criteria for sites allowed into the system – I don’t believe that a “bad neighborhood site will ever make it into the system. If so, you can always file a support ticket for them and ask for deletion of the site.

I agree with you as In my blog some times I make simple copy paste from other site (reserving their copyrights)
and these contents get indexed and appear in the search results very near to the original post or even higher in other keywords

Another Word about Unique Content versus Duplicate Content:
Google penalize you if you are posting the same article at one Blog or Article Directories for 200 times, but if you are publishing the same article at 200 Article Directories or Blog, you are doing the right way.

And, if you are doing these with 200 Unique Content at 200 (Article Directories or Blogs) is much better.

I’m making these with all my web sites, and i’m receiving great traffic from all Search Engines.

If you are a website with less concurrence you can receive traffic in less one month doing these.

Hi! I’m read this comment and is so much for learning. 2 years ago i worked with “Ad words” for targeting traffic. But now i am sure about what i need to do. And Article Marketing is great one. I used 1WayLink Network and 3WayLink, but nothing is comparable such as Article Marketing posting at Ezine Articles, Article Directories and Blog Network.

If you are questions about “content duplication”, here is some understanding around. Some Directories and Blogs prefer unique content, and this is because it’s ranging much better for you and for these blogs. Not because is penalized from Google.

Google penalize duplicate content if you are posting 2 identical article at the same directories. Google index only one. And maybe penalize your site if you are receiving so much backlinks what is maked unnaturally. Example: If you are doing these with one identical article tonight at 200 Directories or Blogs, Google maybe penalize this. You are not capable to make this manually. Google penalize if you are doing this with “automation software”. Specially if you are a new website and receive 200 backlinks at once. If you are doing the wrong way, you receive nothing traffic from Google.

But, if you are receive 200 links from unique content posted within one week, you are a change for being these article indexed much better.

Make this correctly and regularly. Take care!

Isn’t his designation is the Senior Software Engineer for Google? I think he does handle the spam part too but anyways not sure about his latest designations.

The same he’s talking here like on the other Q & A video I’ve seen from him about using nofollow tags on paid links or on untrusted source. Absolutely no one wants to put their site at risk by applying dofollow tags on it. Especially on paid links because that’ll make Google suspect you of Link Exchanging etc which is banned. So they tell you to use nofollow tag on it.

Generally I’d say they don’t follow nofollow links
Just because there are many doesn’t mean anything – nofollow was introduced to have a means of not counting a link as a recommendation…
There are signs that google does not ignore nofollow links completely – for example the absence of nofollow links might lead to google thinking that you have an unnatural linking pattern.
If you want to improve your rankings don’t count on nofollow.

I have as well some blogs where I have keywordluv installed and I am quite getting some really stupid comments. But it is always possible not to approve them what I do if it is just too bad. On the other hand where are a lot of people who really leave some great comments.

Talking about coments that don’t make sense, I’ve had comments that were nothing but a bunch of gibberish with obvious links in them but it doesn’t even look like a language like Polish or Spanish. I have been using keywordluv on my site and unfortunately have found that many of the comments really have nothing to do the site and are strictly to get a backlink. In many cases the comments don’t even make sense. Although I am new to keyword luv I do intend to give it some more time.

I some how accidently ended up here. I was updated my Blu-ray player site because somebody spammed it and I was deleting his posting. Then I started cleaning up some things and noticed that I had to clean up 3 way links which I discontinued. This must have been one of the pages that was listed on my 3 way links. Glad that I ended up here as the information about do follow blogs is awesome. Just before I ended up here, I just installed keywordluv in my blog! Cool stuff.

I finally nailed it!! and am I glad I did!!
It took me about 20 minutes to set it up (all the way to site validation on 3WL), but I guess it was just a learning experience and next time it will definitely take me 5 minutes tops.

The value of a backlink as the old saying goes is whatever someone is willing to pay. The higher ranked the site the more valuable the backlink, with an .edu and .gov being very desirable. Also, already mentioned, I have seen my ranking for a particular keyword phrase move from Google page 3 to Google page 1 SERPs with just 2 backlinks. Of course there are other factors that the Google algorithm measures but backlinks are very high on the list. One more thing, quality trumps quantity as backlinks go.

I have been using Ezinearticles almost exclusively. They are the top of the cream and give nice authority links. In working with EZA however they are quite fussy and will not take just any article. Their quality control has tightened.

Also of note is that you can write an article on most any popular topic and place non-themed links at the bottom. This can open up a larger article universe for you to consider. EZA doesn’t care that the links are dissimilar to the topic of the article.

The main issue for newcomers to SEO is how to keep all the elements of SEO together, and effectively manage all the best practices for on page optimization in page design and copywriting as well as off page elements like blog posting / link building and so on. I was one of those who battled and then after getting into software marketing almost by accident 7 years ago, we decided to put our own seo software package together (we already did keyword research and adwords intelligence) which does the lot. It took us two years to develop but the results were worth it; there is a free seo software trial version there if you want to try it. We're launching Feb 2010. We have also included a complete dofollow blog manager suite of tools, (including automated commenting which we don't advise)

Ah, SeoQuake, I know this and I use it regularly for competition research. I has a handy switch and you can set the search frequency so the IP ban from google is rather improbable. Even when it happens you just switch it off for a while and enter a Captcha on the google site and can go on with your regular work – nothing to worry about…

I have also tried fast blog finder and had the same problems -pointed sites that were no follow. I am guessing they have a database which is not live and updated when the sites change. its a nice idea, but with sites changing (from follow to no follow) on a regular basis – live information is best

I got it mixed up. Sorry I am a complete novice to this and surfing the net that much I am now getting confused with all the info.

It is SEOquake plug in for mozilla, not iMacros.

I have decided not to use it as read some reviews that Google can actually end up blacklisting your IP address or something like that.

In order to get Backlinks, you should put quality content on your website as well as get link with those which have got relevancy with your posted material. The higher the relevancy the higher the chances for getting visitors would increase. You should not overlook the quality of materials and articles that you post. It is necessary to come up with new and fresh information as visitors are hungry for such content. It may take up some time to submit articles and get Backlinks but it is worth doing the task. You can choose to do it manually but there are also some tools which can do get Backlinks for you. However the manual process is the most recommended one.

Fast Blog Finder is not that good and accurate. Nofollow blogs appear as dofollow which sucks. I hope there’s a better application than FBF. Your application looks promising by the way.

I did get quite good results with the gold version of fast blog finder, the free version just gives you an idea of what the gold version could do.
Regarding the iMacros method – I have not heard of that, could you post a link or more details?

I tried fast blog finder and the results were not all that good. I seem to be getting more results from reading other peoples lists. LOL

I come across a technique yesterday which involved firefox and iMacros. Downloaded the guide lines but still have to try it. Have you come across this technique before? It is also meant to be good for finding the high ranking sites.
